Orlando is known to many as “The Theme Park Capital of the World” and more than 62 million visitors visit Orlando annually. It’s nickname is “The City Beautiful” and its symbol is the fountain at Lake Eola. Orlando is served by two main airports The Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Sanford International Airport.

Many household names from large American Companies also have their headquarters in Orlando. The City is one of the busiest American Cities for conferences and conventions. The Orange County Convention Centre is the second largest in the United States. Orlando is home to many education establishments including the University of Central Florida and Rollins College. Orlando City Ballet, Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, Orlando Repertory Theatre, Mad Cow Theatre, The Orlando Caberet Festival, The Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival, The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, The Orlando Film Festival to name a few local companies. All the major artists play the Amway Centre.

5) Shopping Orlando is a fabulous shopping destination with modern malls and great outlet malls. The Florida Mall, The Mall at Millenia and The Premium Outlets are loved by all.

6) Restaurants Orlando offers more than 5,300 restaurants which offer every kind of ambience imaginable and a wide range of cuisine.

7) Weather Orlando has a humid subtropical climate and as such there are two main seasons each year. One hot and rainy lasting from May until late September and the other dry and relatively cool late October through April bringing less frequent rainfall yet warm temperatures.
